Titans' Harper says eye surgery helped

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Tennessee Titans veteran cornerback Nick Harper says he's seeing much better thanks to recent eye surgery.

Harper told The Tennessean newspaper he can't believe his vision was so poor.

He said he played all last season without the contacts that were prescribed for him, and it could have been a factor in dropping seven balls that were possible interceptions.

Harper, who'll be 35 this coming September, is heading into his ninth NFL season.
