Man's body found in Missouri River

ST. CHARLES, Mo. (AP) - A man's body has been found in the Missouri River in the St. Louis area, a few miles from where a missing builder and philanthropist reportedly jumped from a bridge two weeks ago.

It is not yet known if the body found near St. Charles is that of 102-year-old I.E. Millstone.

Sgt. Jerry Callahan of the Missouri State Water Patrol says a barge worker saw the body shortly after 6 a.m. Tuesday. Crews from the Water Patrol and the St. Charles Fire Department pulled the body from the river.

Last month, a witness saw an elderly man jump into the river. A vehicle belonging to Millstone's caretaker was nearby. Crews searched the river for several days.

Millstone's company built dozens of St. Louis landmarks, including the old Busch Stadium.
