MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) - John Daly is at the projected cut line after a 2-under 68 left him at even par after 36 holes at the St. Jude Classic, his first PGA Tour event following a six-month suspension.
Daly finished on Friday just as the afternoon wave was teeing off. Play was halted later Friday afternoon before all the players could finish. He'll know Saturday if he made the cut.
Daly opened with a 72. He had broken par on this course only three times in his previous 20 rounds.
If he makes the cut, a temporary restraining order Daly's attorneys obtained Wednesday keeping his estranged wife away from the course would be extended into the weekend.
