Search crews found body of missing Ark. fisherman

LONOKE, Ark. (AP) - Searchers say they've recovered the body of a missing fisherman from a Lonoke County bayou.

Sheriff's deputies say they recovered the body of 36-year-old Willie Dixon from the Plum Bayou around 1:15 p.m. Monday. Deputies say the boat capsized Sunday while Dixon and a cousin fished in the bayou. The cousin made it to shore.

Cousin Marcus Johnson told Little Rock television station KLRT that the boat was about 100 yards from shore when it capsized. Johnson says Dixon helped put a life jacket on him before he drowned.

Dixon's body has been sent to the state Crime Laboratory in Little Rock.
