Rams open training camp July 31

ST. LOUIS (AP) - The St. Louis Rams' first training camp practice under new coach Steve Spagnuolo will be July 31.

The Rams, 2-14 last year, are training in St. Louis this season after holding camp in Mequon, Wis., in 2008 under Scott Linehan. It'll be the fifth year the Rams have held camp in the St. Louis area, including 2005-07 and 1995 after the franchise moved from the West Coast.

Rookies, quarterbacks and selected veterans will report to Rams Park on July 29, with the remainder of the team reporting the following day.

Specific practice dates, including those open to the public, have not been set.
