Nashville building may set the green standard

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Real estate officials say a building unveiled in Nashville will set the statewide green standard.

It has a roof that features solar panels on one side and plants on the other.

Executives said the 60,000-square-foot green construction should reduce energy costs by 25% and water costs by 30% compared to buildings of similar size.

According to WSMV-TV, it met strict, environmentally conscious building guidelines.
