Arkansas State arranges game at Memphis

JONESBORO, Ark. (AP) - Arkansas State is set to play at Memphis in basketball next season.

Coach John Brady said Friday the game is "a done deal" but he wasn't certain what the date would be. The schools have played 56 times but did not meet last season.

Brady said Arkansas State is hoping to find one other road game next season against a team that wouldn't have to make a return trip to Jonesboro.

"We've talked with Wake Forest. We're talking to several schools," Brady said. "(Texas A&M) wanted the same date Memphis did, but obviously for us, just to drive to Memphis is much better than a flight to try to find A&M."

Brady said Texas-El Paso might also be a possibility.
