EGYPT, Ark. -- Federal investigators have removed wreckage from the site of a small plane crash that killed one person near Jonesboro on Christmas Eve.
Investigators from the National Transportation Safety Board, the Federal Aviation Administration and the manufacturers of a plane went through the debris yesterday, and then took it to a site for more study.
The Tuesday crash killed 37-year-old Eddie Wayne Thomas Junior of Cherokee Village. No cause has been determined.
Joyce Roach, air safety investigator for the NTSB at Arlington, Texas, said Wednesday that the wreckage was analyzed at the scene, then gathered up for storage at a secured facility, where the investigation will continue.
