LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - 1 of Arkansas' top football recruits says he's been cleared by the NCAA to play this fall.
Cornerback Darius Winston of Helena-West Helena Central says UA recruiting coordinator Tim Horton told him the NCAA Eligibility Center has cleared him.
Winston is 6-feet tall, 175-pounds and has run a 4.38 40-yard dash.
He chose the Razorbacks over schools including Michigan, Miami, Ole Miss, Tennessee and Georgia.
