Sports Director

Chris Hudgison

Chris Hudgison was named KAIT Sports Director on December 31st, 2011. He was the Weekend Sports Anchor from June 2009-December 2011.

He began his television career in his hometown of Columbus, Georgia. Chris started working at WTVM in August 2003 as a Production Assistant. After three plus years in production, he moved to News Photographer, getting to cover stories like the WHINSEC/School of the Americas protests at Fort Benning. In January 2008, he got his shot as a Sports Reporter. Chris covered Auburn's tumultuous football season, from the highs of College Gameday against LSU, to the lows of a losing season and a coaching change.

During his time in Jonesboro, he has been one of the few people to cover the four consecutive Arkansas State football coaching changes from 2010 to 2013. Chris created the concept of Red Wolves Raw in 2010 as a way to give fans extended online coverage of A-State.

Chris graduated from Columbus State University in 2009.  He is also the biggest sports geek on the planet, and probably the oddest sports fan too. He's gotten up at 6am to watch Chelsea FC, and loves his Tennessee Volunteers, Boston Red Sox, Indiana Pacers, Jacksonville Jaguars and Winnipeg Jets (random, we know). Off the desk, you can find him on the golf course or playing Playstation 3.
