NEW MADRID COUNTY, Mo. (KFVS) -- The New Madrid County Sheriff's Department confirms the two children taken from their mother have been found. A dispatcher with the department says their father is in custody.
As of 9:45 a.m. Tuesday no other details were being released about the condition of the children, where they were or how they were found.
According to the New Madrid County Sheriff's Department, Edgar Langley, 33, had an argument with his wife and took off with the children around 1:50 p.m. Monday. The altercation happened west of Sikeston, Missouri in Farris Ridge.
The two missing children were 6-year-old Crystal Langley and 5-year-old Edgar Langley Jr.
Their father, 31-year-old Edgar Langley was the suspect in the abduction.
