JONESBORO, Ark. (KAIT) - We've all heard the real estate nightmares from across the country, but here in Region 8 the housing market seems to holding strong in some communities.
The average price of a home this year compared to last is actually up in the Craighead County by two-thousand dollars.
The numbers of homes sold from January first to now is down by only 67 homes sold. Real estate agents we spoke with they are encouraged by the numbers.
"Craighead County, especially Jonesboro, has been blessed over the years with positive real estate sales. Yes, we're are down a little bit, but not a significant number."
