Arkansas adds track and field assistant

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) - Travis Geopfert has been hired as an assistant track and field coach at Arkansas.

Geopfert will be the Razorbacks' jumps, throws and multi-events assistant.

Geopfert spent six years at Northern Iowa. He became the Panthers' track and field and cross country head coach last year after Chris Bucknam left to take over the men's program at Arkansas. Now, Bucknam and Geopfert will work together again.
