Public meetings scheduled for 2010 spring turkey regulations

LITTLE ROCK, Ar (AGFC) - The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission wants to hear from turkey hunters. The agency is looking for feedback from hunters as the AGFC begins the process of setting the 2010 spring turkey hunting regulations.

The meetings will be held Aug. 25 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. There will be 11 public meetings held around the state that will give turkey hunters their chance to have a voice in the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission's annual regulations process.

To find out more about the AGFC's proposals for the 2010 spring turkey hunting season, go to, then attend one of the public meetings.
