FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) - Arkansas tight end Chris Gragg could miss the upcoming season after dislocating his left ankle.
Gragg was hurt at Wednesday's practice. Coach Bobby Petrino said afterward the sophomore would likely need surgery.
Gragg caught only one pass last season, but it was a 25-yarder on fourth down late in the fourth quarter of a 28-27 win over Louisiana-Monroe. He moved from wide receiver to tight end this spring and was listed third on the depth chart.
D.J. Williams, the Razorbacks' top tight end, missed practice Wednesday after tweaking his ankle. Petrino said he's hopeful Williams will be back soon.
