Mallett tosses 5 TDs in Razorbacks' scrimmage

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) - University of Arkansas coach Bobby Petrino says he's pleased with the performance of quarterback Ryan Mallett, who threw five touchdown passes during a weekend scrimmage.

Mallett finished Saturday's scrimmage 29 of 42 for 305 yards, five touchdowns and no interceptions.

Receiver Reggie Fish led the team in reception yards with 111 yards on 5 receptions, while Jarius Wright had 5 receptions for 83 yards, including a 57-yard touchdown pass from Mallett.

Running back Broderick Green led the team in rushing with 16 carries for 45 yards, including touchdown runs of 1 and 7 yards.

The team is not scheduled to practice on Sunday, but will return to the field for two workouts on Monday, at 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.
