Arkansas' Madison out for the season

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) - Arkansas cornerback Isaac Madison is out for the season with a knee injury.

The school said Monday that Madison will need surgery on a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee. Madison underwent an MRI after hurting his left knee in a scrimmage Saturday.

Madison started 11 games last season, and although he struggled at times, coach Bobby Petrino had singled him out as the secondary's most improved player in the spring.
