TEXARKANA, TX (KSLA) - A Texarkana family has set up a positive legacy in the wake of a woman's death at the hands of her husband.
A donation for $9,200 was made during a ceremony Wednesday at Christus St. Michael's in Texarkana, Texas in memory of Toy Bradshaw.
Bradshaw was allegedly stabbed to death by her husband. Part of the money raised will go to domestic violence programs.
The Toy Bradshaw Scholarship has also been established to provide money for nursing students at Texarkana A&M-Texarkana College.
That's the college that Bradshaw studied nursing at.
