JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - Members of the Constitution Party of Arkansas were out in front of Congressman Marion Berry's office in downtown Jonesboro Saturday, protesting against a government health care plan.
A group of nearly 50 people were on hand, voicing their concerns about President Obama's health care reform policy. According to several in the group, they are worried about losing certain freedoms, such as the right to choose when to go to the doctor. Karen Jacobs, a nurse, said she wants the government to back off.
"We're here today to show Congressman Berry that he works for us, and a majority of Americans do not want this government run health care," said Karen Jacobs.
