RECTOR, AR (KAIT) - The Northeast Arkansas Innovative Training Center (NEAITC) received a donation Tuesday to help with its educational efforts.
The Entergy Corporation presented a check in the form of $10,000 to the group to help provide opportunities to locals.
The grant money comes from the Entergy Charitable Foundation, which created the grant to support initiatives to spur growth in communities.
Entergy customer service manager David Burnette was on hand to present the check. Also present were Mayor Ron Kemp, center director Jacinda Welch, State Representative Mike Patterson and several other local leaders.
Center director Welch said the grant would be a "tremendous" help. She added that the funds would go toward completing the center's computer lab.
