MARTIN, TN (WMC-TV) - Law enforcement agencies from across Tennessee released new details Thursday morning about the arrest of a man who may be responsible for a string of rapes.
Martin Police Chief David Moore said investigators used DNA evidence and items taken from the scene of one of the attacks to match Bruce Tuck, 35, to one the crimes.
So far, that is the only attack Tuck has been charged with. He is scheduled to arraigned Thursday afternoon.
Shelby County Sheriff Mark Luttrell said the investigation would continue as authorities try to determine if Tuck is responsible for a series of rapes in the Cordova area.
GLEASON, TN (WMC-TV) - Investigators have taken a man into custody in Gleason, Tennessee in connection to their investigation into a series of rapes in Martin and Cordova.
Bruce Tuck, 35, was seen hiding his face with a red rag as he was led to a police car by authorities around 5:15 p.m. Before he could be put into the police car, Tuck was placed on a stretcher and into an ambulance.
Investigators said Tuck would be charged with at least one count of aggravated rape for an attack in Martin.

Wednesday, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation and the Martin Police Department were leading the investigation in Gleason.
As Gleason police blocked the street, and sheriff's investigators covered the neighborhood, TBI agents moved in and out of a house at 340 Phelps Street in Gleason.
Martin Police Chief David Moore said investigators closed in on the house to follow a lead in the case and to serve a search warrant. Outside, it was clear that all kinds of evidence was being collected, including a pick-up truck that was towed away.
Meanwhile, a steady stream of locals drove by, looking for an update on an investigation into a case that has many women worried.

The first attack was reported in late July.
Shular said Tuck once served as a volunteer for the department, from September 7, 1998 until April 5, 2004.
