JONESBORO, Ark. (AP) - As Arkansas State prepares for Saturday's game at Nebraska, it will do so without two seniors who sustained season-ending injuries in the Red Wolves' 61-0 victory over Mississippi Valley State.
Offensive lineman Dominic Padrta and free safety Evan Van Dolah both were hurt in the first half of Saturday's game at ASU. Padrta was injured on a running play up the middle. Van Dolah and MVSU receiver Brandon Stargell were running full speed when Stargell made a catch and Van Dolah tackled him.
Van Dolah got up after the hit but collapsed. He was taken off on a utility vehicle.
Arkansas State coach Steve Roberts did not specify what injuries the players suffered.
