Man rams house trailer during pursuit, arrested on meth charges

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - A Tuesday afternoon pursuit in Jonesboro leads to a man's arrest after he drives his white SUV into a trailer.

David B. Swaner faces multiple felonies after police say they found meth and meth lab components with him after a pursuit.

It happened during the lunch hour, when police began a chase with a white SUV near the intersection of Melrose and Caraway. The chase continued down multiple roads and concluded at J & J Trailer Park just off of Davis Road.

Police say Swaner jumped out of his vehicle at the trailer park and his white SUV rolled into trailer eight. They add that Swaner lives in trailer seven.

After a foot pursuit, police arrested Swaner. They reported finding four grams of meth on Swaner, as well as meth lab components.

Swaner, who police say had a warrant out a parole violation, faces charges of felony aggravated assault, felony fleeing in a vehicle, fleeing on foot, possession of a controlled substance (meth), felony possession of drug paraphernalia and numerous other traffic violations.
