MARION COUNTY, AR (KAIT) - A one vehicle accident in Marion County leaves one Yellville Summit High School Football player dead and four other players injured.
Marion County Sheriff Roger Vickers said the accident happened on Marioun County Road 4002. The five players were riding in a Ford Ranger. According to the Sheriff the vehicle left the road and turned over several times.
All but one of the people in the truck were thrown from the vehicle. Two people were riding in the back of the truck and three were riding in the cab.
The four injured players were transported to Baxter Regional Hospital. Their conditions are not known at this time and their names are being held until their families are notified.
The team was scheduled to play Friday night against Salem. That game was cancelled.
