Jonesboro man arrested in teen's shooting death

HELENA-WEST HELENA, Ark. (AP) - Police in east Arkansas have arrested a 20-year-old Jonesboro man on suspicion of capital murder in last month's shooting death of a Helena-West Helena teen.

Police arrested Michael Lewis Davis Jr. at an apartment in Jonesboro on Wednesday. He's accused in the Aug. 10 shooting death of 16-year-old Quanteria Smith, who was a student at the KIPP school in Helena-West Helena.

Authorities have said the shooter was targeting the Quanteria's mother's boyfriend.
