Suspects caught after burglary and pursuit in Jonesboro

JONESBORO, AR, (KAIT)- Jonesboro Police responded to T.J. Maxx, located at 1235 S. Caraway Road, Saturday morning after being notified of a theft.

Police were able to locate the suspects heading South of US 63. Officers initiated a traffic stop on the suspect vehicle and the suspectse then fled from police.

The suspects were pursued South on US 63.  State police assisted and were able to deploy spike strips across the path of the suspects around at the Marked Tree area.  Suspects finally stopped the vehicle near Tyronza where the driver fled on foot.

 The Driver, Nidro Jordan of Memphis, was apprehended a short time later.

The two passengers, Lewis Lafairro and Daphine McDowell, also from Memphis, were taken into custody by Poinsett County Deptuties, who also assisted.

Approximately $4,000 worth of merchandise (purses) was recovered from the vehicle.

No word yet on what charges they all face.
