JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - A Region 8 school is being recognized by recieving national accreditation. Concordia Christian Academy, along with seven hundred schools nation-wide, are being accredited by the National Lutheran School Accreditation Commission.
Concordia was chosen for demonstrating strong academic achievements and innovative learning programs.
"It's important to us because it gives us the chance to know where we need to go in the future. It gives us an idea of what we're going to be working on the future because it's a continuous process," said Principal Cheryl Honoree.
The award was presented at a special worship service Sunday morning at the Pilgrim Lutheran Church. This is Concordia Christian Academy's first accredidation.
