Ground breaking held at ASU

JONESBORO, AR. (KAIT) - Arkansas State University is moving forward in environmental sustainability.

The ground breaking for The Arkansas Biosciences Institute Commercial Innovation Center took place Saturday Morning at 504 University Loop.

Governor Mike Beebe was among the participants.

Arkansas Bioscience Institute's Executive Director, Carole Cramer, emphasized that the tobacco settlement and the investment for the legislature in the state of Arkansas has really made a huge difference for ABI.

Not just in educational opportunities at ASU, but mobilizing them into a greater research intensity and now a business development site.
