"We love it, cause you get a different environment of people in here," Rondell Williams of Lewis' BBQ says, "a lot of people come through here that support the team, support our business."
Williams is a cook at the bbq restaurant and says today alone they sent out two to three hundred pounds of meat for tail-gaters.
"It's been pretty busy," Williams adds.
Marcus Jones of Munchy's sandwich shop says that game weekends like this weekend help business to pick up. While Munchy's hasn't seen too much of a strain from the down economy, Jones says days like Saturday are definitely "kind" to their business.
"We're excited, of course," Jones explains, "we just appreciate everyone stopping by and supporting us and our business."
The ASU vs. Troy game alone brought in around twenty-five to thirty thousand people.
