Molina leaves Cards' game after foul ball off knee

DENVER (AP) - All-Star catcher Yadier Molina has left the St. Louis Cardinals' game at Colorado after he was struck on the left knee by a foul ball in the fourth inning.

Clint Barmes' foul hit Molina so hard that it ricocheted to pitcher Adam Wainright. Molina stayed in for another pitch, which Barmes hit for a double, then walked out to the mound and left the game.

Molina was replaced by Jason LaRue.
