POCAHONTAS, AR (KAIT) - The first ever Rock and Roll Highway 67 Music Festival is in Pocahontas Friday, October 2 and Saturday, October 3.
Friday's entertainment included a parade, a Karoke contest, historical walking tours and a sock hop event. Saturday's events include many concerts, contests and tours, from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Admission is free for many events. Some require ticket purchases. The county court house steps is the setting for most of the events.
The festival honors Pocahontas Rock N Roll pioneer, the late Billy Lee Riley.
