CHARLESTON, MO (KFVS) - Charleston police are looking into a shooting that sent a man to the hospital.
Investigators are still trying to figure out exactly what happened but say someone shot a man multiple times in Charleston.
"The person was shot at a different location and actually drove hisself to our location and he got out trying to get into the building and collapsed at our building back here which would be the east side," said Mississippi County Sheriff Keith Moore.
Moore says he thinks the shooting happened on Vine Street. Workers called for help and an air ambulance took the man to a Cape Girardeau hospital.
"It's a pretty good shock, but the person I guess he was in dirress and everything and he just ran to the place he thought he could get help," Moore said.
Police have not made any arrests and it's not clear if they have any suspects.
