Red Wolves preparing for Louisville Cardinals

ASU faces Louisville in its final non-conference game of the regular season, taking a 1-2 non-conference record and 0-3 road record into the game .

The game will be the first ever meeting between ASU and Louisville, which will be just the second Big East opponent the Red Wolves have ever played.  ASU split a pair of games with Cincinnati, defeating the Bearcats in 1975 before playing them again in 1998 .

Louisville and ASU will meet again in 2010 when the Cardinals travel to Jonesboro in the return game of two-year home-and-home series .

Entering the game, Corey Leonard needs 10 completions and three touchdown passes to break both school records for a career . Leonard needs 148 passing yards to become the second player in ASU history to pass for 7,000 yards in a career . Alex Carrington needs 1.5 sacks to tie for the fifth most in school history for a career . Josh Arauco needs one field goal to tie the most makes in Sun Belt Conference history and one point to take over second place in the league for all-time points by kicking . Brandon Thompkins needs 46 yards to break the Sun Belt Conference record for career kickoff return yards and 107 yards to become the league's fourth all-time leader in all-purpose yards.

Kickoff is set for 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
