A business in Region 8 is helping provide kids learning tools

JONESBORO (KAIT) - Barnes and Noble is teaming up with United Way to have their annual book drive from now until January.

They are encouraging customers to purchase a book and donate another, which will be given to one of eleven children's programs across Region 8.

The Jonesboro Barnes and Noble is setting a goal of 1,400 books.

Organizations benefiting from the Holiday Book Drive are Paces, City Youth Ministries, Hispanic Community Services, Literacy League, The Children's Shelter, The Learning Center, YMCA, The Salvation Army, The White River Battered Women's Shelter, Women's Crisis Center, and The Willa Black Daycare Center.
