LITTLE ROCK, Ark. -- The Arkansas Senate is to consider legislation today that will make early voting hours standard statewide.
The early voting bill from Representative Sarah Agee would set standard early voting hours from eight in the morning until six in the evening, Monday through Friday, and from one until four in the afternoon on Saturdays.
The early-voting period would begin 15 days before a primary, runoff or general election and end on the day before election day at the normal close of business set by the county clerk.
