Flood warnings continue

NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE LITTLE ROCK AR

From the National Weather Service in Little Rock, the flood warning continues for Black River.

The flood warning continues for Black River at Pocahontas until Sunday evening or until the warning is canceled. At 8:00 a.m. on Friday, the stage was 18.1 feet and falling, and has now fallen to 17.0 feet. For Black River at Black Rock, the stage was at 19.8 feet at 8:00 a.m. on Friday, and has fallen to 14.0.

Please remember to turn around. Don't drown. Do not drive cars through flooded areas. Everyone with property or other interest along streams and rivers should remain alert to changing weather forecasts to make informed decisions on protecting lives and property.

River forecasts are based on current conditions and rainfall forecasted to occur over the next 12 hours during periods of flooding.
