Little Rock (KAIT) - Before Arkansas' game with Mississippi state Saturday, the school announced that running back Michael Smith will miss the rest of the season with a hamstring injury.
The redshirt senior battled injury all season long, only missing two of the Razorbacks first 10 games.
He played in 39 games, making 14 starts in his Hogs career. Smith finishes with 359 carries for 2,018 yards and 16 touchdowns. He's the 14th player in Arkansas history to rush for 2,000+ career yards.
Smith was Arkansas' leading rusher last season with 1,072 yards and 8 touchdowns.
The Hogs travel to Baton Rouge to close out the regular season with LSU. Kickoff is 7pm on November 28th and it will be on ESPN.
