Salvation Army kettles adjust to growing demand

Jonesboro, AR (KAIT)- Times are tough in America right now, more people need help and fewer people have the means to give it.

The Salvation Army is now trying to make it easy for people to donate, adding a credit card machine to go along with the kettles.

The organization has put 300 cash less kettles around the country.  It's all in an effort to raise money to meet a growing demand for assistance.

The kettles take Visa, Mastercard or Discover and require a $5 dollar minimum donation.
