Man killed in early morning fire in Region 8

HOLLAND, MO (KAIT) - A man was killed after an early morning mobile home  fire in Holland on Monday.

The Steele Fire Department responded got the call around 2 a.m. Monday to a trailer fire in Holland.

The Steele Fire Department says a man was found dead inside. His name has not been released.

The Pemiscot County Sheriff's Department says an autopsy was performed, and shows the man died of smoke inhalation. The sheriff says no investigation is being conducted.

    A Paragould family is a step closer to having their miniature horses living on their property as the city discussed an ordinance that would rezone their property from residential to agriculture. The property is located in the 3,000-block of Finch Road.
