Razorbacks battle Sooners on the hardwood

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) - Arkansas will continue to be without sophomore point guard Courtney Fortson and may not have senior forward Michael Washington for Wednesday night's game at Oklahoma.

Razorbacks coach John Pelphrey says Washington is questionable because of a sprained back and Fortson remains on indefinite suspension and won't play against the Sooners.

Washington is averaging 14 points and 5.6 rebounds. He missed Arkansas' 74-61 loss to South Alabama on Sunday after injuring his back in the pre-game shoot around.

Pelphrey says his playing status is "day to day."

The Razorbacks (2-4) and Sooners (3-3) tip off in Norman, Okla., at 7 p.m. and can be seen on KAIT Channel 8.
