Convicted felon sentenced to 57 years in prison for possessing firearm

POPLAR BLUFF, MO (KFVS) - A Poplar Bluff man was sentenced to nearly five years in prison for being a previously convicted felon in possession of a firearm.

Enrico Kareem Foster, 32, was sentenced to 57 months in prison after he displayed a pistol in an "angry or threatening manner" to a neighbor, according to the Acting United States Attorney Michael W. Reap with the Eastern District of Missouri.

Foster is accused of confronting his neighbor on Harper Street on June 23, 2008.

He also received a consecutive sentence of 15 months for violating the terms of his supervised release.
