Jonesboro, AR (KAIT) - John Brady and ASU were back on the Convocation Center floor Saturday night, hoping to break a three game losing streak against 8-0 Missouri State.
But the Red Wolves bugaboo for most of the season struck again at the charity stripe.
They went 10 for 20 at the line, while the Bears hit 87% of their free throws to win 75-64.
After starting 2009 3-1, ASU has now lost four in a row.
Missouri State opened the game on a 23-9 run, but the Red Wolves rallied to tie it up at 35 at halftime.
But the Bears pulled away in the second half with their success at the line, and with three players in double figures.
Brandon Reed and Daniel Bryant tied for leading scorer, each with 16 points on the evening.
