SWEET HOME, Ark. (AP) - Authorities responding to a call about a burning pickup found two bodies in the vehicle. Pulaski County Sheriff's Office spokesman John Rehrauer says the bodies that were found were charred beyond recognition.
He says one body was found in the pickup's bed and the other was in the cab's passenger compartment. Rehrauer says workers at Granite Mountain Quarry called authorities Saturday after they saw smoke coming from Wilbern Road in Sweet Home.
He says there's little reason for anyone to be in the area where the bodies were found. He says the license plate on the pickup still was legible. --- Information from: Arkansas Democrat-Gazette, http://www.arkansasonline.com
