Carter County Man Found Dead

ELLSINORE, Mo. -- The family of 47-year-old Russell Adams has confessed to killing him and abandoning his body. Adams' family, 40-year-old Lori Adams and their son 19-year-old Dustin Adams confessed and were charged Friday with the murder and with armed criminal action.

Adams body was found in a rural area near Ellsinore, Missouri on Thursday. Authorities found the gun used to kill the Carter County, Missouri man in a separate undisclosed location. Family friend, Phillip Catlett Junior, was charged with abandoning a corpse and tampering with evidence. The three Ellsinore residents remain jailed on 200-thousand dollars bond each.
