9 arrested for illegal drug sales in Region 8

STEELE, MO (KAIT) – Steele Police and the Bootheel Drug Task Force arrest 9 after a 5-month long investigation.

Over the weekend, investigators with the Bootheel Drug Task Force arrested 9 people for illegal drug sales in Steele, Missouri.

The 5-month long investigation says the suspects sold meth, marijuana, cocaine, prescription pills, and also a number of hand guns.

Police are not releasing any names, and says the investigation is still ongoing. Police say more arrest are likely.
