Three people including a child rescued due to high water

PARAGOULD, AR (KAIT) - Paragould Police, and the Greene County Rescue Squad had to pull 3 people, including a child after their truck stalled in flood waters.

It happened Thursday afternoon on Greene County Road 920 just off Highway 358.

According to emergency officials the driver of the truck drove onto the flooded county road and became stranded. The water was too high and stalled the Chevy Silverado.

That's when the Greene County Rescue Squad had to be called to make the rescue by boat. When crews arrived the water was already to the hood of the truck.

No one was hurt in the incident.
