ASU Moves to 6-5 with 98-60 Win Over Central Baptist

Jonesboro (KAIT) - Tuesday night's 98-60 win over Central Baptist was a tuneup game for a upcoming gauntlet. The ASU Red Wolves will have 5 games in 10 days in 4 different states.

All 9 Red Wolves scored at least 4 points, with 6 in double figures. Brandon Reed had 14 points. Brandon Peterson, Jeremy Thomas and Trey Finn each had 13. Finn also had 13 rebounds for a double-double. Adam Sterrenberg and Martavius Adams each had 12.

The game marked the return of two former standouts to Region 8. Former Batesville Pioneer Michael Holder and former Cedar Ridge Timberwolf Brady Batson each had 6 points for the Mustangs.

John Brady picked up his 300th win, and he's hoping for a few more before the season is over. He revealed in his postgame press conference that Daniel Bryant didn't play because he seperated his non-shooting shoulder at practice this past Saturday. He's a gametime decision for Thursday afternoon.

6-5 ASU will travel to Denver to take on the Pioneers in their second Sun Belt game. Tipoff is 3pm at Magness Arena.
