Arkansas Hires Nevada's Chris Klenakis As Offensive Line Coach

Fayetteville (KAIT) - Bobby Petrino hired Chris Klenakis from Nevada Friday to coach the Arkansas offensive line.

The Fallon, NV native will replace Mike Summers, who left Arkansas to take a similar job at Kentucky. Klenakis has 19 years of FBS experience.

Petrino had this to say about the new offensive line coach:

"I've been able to follow his impressive career since the beginning and Chris has an innovative offensive mind. There are elements of the Pistol offense he ran at Nevada that are intriguing and blend well with our philosophy of being aggressive and attacking defenses in a number of ways."

Before his most recent stint at Nevada as offensive coordinator, Klenakis held the same job for three years at Southern Mississippi and for a year at Central Missouri.

He joins former ASU linebacker Steve Caldwell as additions to the Razorback staff in 2010. Caldwell was hired as defensive ends coach.
