State Police arrest man wanted in Brinkley killing

BRINKLEY, Ark. (AP) - Arkansas State Police say a man wanted in a deadly shooting in Brinkley has been arrested.

Spokesman Bill Sadler says 23-year-old Byron Murray was arrested shortly after 5 a.m. Wednesday at his parents' home in Brinkley. It wasn't known if he yet had an attorney.

Murray was wanted on a capital murder charge in the shooting death of 31-year-old Sharod Reed.

Police say Reed was found in a city street and died at a Memphis hospital.
