Bay church collecting good for Haiti quake victims

Bay, AR (KAIT) - The Bay United Methodist Church is organizing a community wide effort to provide basic health kits for the earthquake victims in Haiti.  On Jan. 24 at 2:00 PM, we have organized "Fill the Ford for Haiti".  The church wants to fill two SUVs with these health kits. 

A basic health kit contains:

•1 hand towel (15" x 25" up to 17" x 27", No kitchen towels)
•1 washcloth
•1 comb (large and sturdy, not pocket-sized)... See More... See More... See More
•1 nail file or fingernail clippers (no emery boards or toenail clippers)
•1 bath-size bar of soap (3 oz. and up)
•1 toothbrush (single brushes only in original wrapper, No child-size brushes)
•6 adhesive plastic strip sterile bandages (Bandaids)
•$1.00 to purchase toothpaste
(Note: toothpaste is purchased in bulk by the relief agency to be added to health kits before shipping to ensure that the product expiration date meets shipping requirements.)

All of the above items are to be placed in a ziplock baggie.
